WAIF Vehicle Donation Program

WAIF is a Washington nonprofit corporation founded in 1990 and is a registered charity in the state of Washington. WAIF serves the Whidbey Island community with programs for homeless pets, along with programs to assist in keeping pets and families together.

WAIF operates with a life-saving philosophy (where no animal is euthanized for space or time constraints) providing safe harbor for Whidbey Island's homeless pet population. In addition to shelters in Coupeville and Oak Harbor, WAIF also operates Cat Adoption Centers in Oak Harbor and Freeland.
